KDChi Alumna named one of most influential Latinos in Washington DC Politics

Kappa Delta Chi Sorority Inc. is so proud that Kdchi Pi Chapter (University of Texas at Austin) Alum, Veronica Duron was named one of Washington DC's Most Influential Latinos on Capitol Hill. (p) Duron is a Legislative Aide to Senator Charles Schumer of New York. In the Senate, she works on education and health care policy issues. Prior to joining Senator Schumer's office, she helped Latino Rep. Solomon Ortiz shape his policy positions on education, housing, taxes, labor, and banking issues. This year, Duron was elected as Vice President of the Congressional Hispanic Staff Association where her tireless efforts are essential to building Latino influence on Capitol Hill.
