Alumnae Chapters Update [Unpublished]

Alumnae Chapters Update!
From your Alumnae Chapter Development Officer, Angelic Garay
of Alpha Zeta, University of Nevada - Las Vegas
As our year comes close to an end, I just want to take the time to say thank you to all the Alumnae Chapters and their respective members. I know I don't talk enough about what awesome things you ladies are doing throughout the year, so here it comes some major kudos:
Austin Chapter
Completing all 5 requirements, this strong chapter works with Pi and creating many fun events like Sisterhood Happy Hour and Zumbathon. One of our bests!
North Florida Chapter
Raising $500 for ACS (selling KDChi Alumnae decals) and working with The Refuge House buying winter cloths & crafts for kids, North Florida really shined in their community!
Reno Chapter
Great work on supporting Alpha Eta. I know you ladies did fundraisers, guidance, and overall involved with this collegiate chapter!

Portland Chapter
One of our newest chapters did a great deal of work this year! They completed all requirements and really went above and beyond to bring their alumnae together and doing more like creating a prom dress project. Great job.

Laredo Chapter
Your chapter chose to partner up with Families for Autism Support and Awareness for your service initiative with the Light it Up Blue Ceremony. Very nice!
DC Metro Chapter
This chapter has ongoing alumnae weekends, were they try to set dates to just to meet up when they can. And they completed all 5 requirements. Way to take it to next level.
Sun City Chapter
Another great service initiative is working with Valley Community Food pantry to fight hunger in El Paso. Also in conjunction with the pantry, gathering cloths for lower income families, you ladies are great!
Waco (Heart O Texas) Chapter
Helped with a Latino Cancer Outreach at a church festival, great way to start your new chapter and be involved in the community!

Rio Grande Valley Chapter
One of the strongest chapters we have, this chapter really spread its wings on social media along with completing so many many many events like the painting with twist for ACS. Awesome work ladies.
Southern California Chapter
Way to help the collegiate chapters! Both involved in Alpha Gamma and starting a new colony at CSULA.
Oklahoma City Chapter
Finishing all their requirements, this chapter raised $660 in their Relay for Life endeavor as well as guide transitions for officers in their collegiate chapter. Way to be a mentor!
Arlington Chapter
A supporting chapter for Epsilon, they helped with retreats, formal, and overall mentoring. Awesome ladies!
Southern Nevada Chapter
Another strong leading chapter we have, this chapter brought in another sister to Delta Alpha Chapter, along with continuing involvement in their area, Alpha Zeta chapter, and NAA training.

Dallas Chapter
Finishing up the year strong, this chapter broke their Alumnae Weekend into two events in order for all to participate. Way to complete all 5 requirements and be there for your members!
Reno and Southern Nevada Presidents, Jessica Arellano and Susan Taylor
Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Hearing that you will be leaving your positions saddens me, but we all wish you the best in your future! You ladies were a vital part of maintaining an alumnae culture in your area.
As we set forth to the next year, don't get discourage if you did not complete all the requirements. Creating an alumnae culture takes time, and the efforts of your work will fruit so long as you keep consistent with it! Very proud of what things you ladies did this year, and know that you gals put a great name out their for Kappa Delta Chi. So take time to pat you and your members on the back! Your chapter ROCKS!

Bonus: Attached are pictures from Austin, Portland, DC Metro, and Southern Nevada. Thank you so much for sending them in!!!
