Kappa Delta Chi sister appointed to the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations, Inc. Executive Board  

Austin, Texas (February 5, 2017) – Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of KDChi sister Bel Pedroza, to the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations, Inc. (NALFO) executive board as Executive Vice President.
Bel is an alumna of the Alpha Iota chapter at Texas A&M International University.  Bel later transferred to the University of North Texas where she graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Criminalistics.  Bel then obtained her master’s degree in 2017 from Tiffin University in Crime Analysis. Bel is currently employed by the Texas Department of Public Safety as a Crime Analyst.
Bel is also the current VP of Records on KDChi's National Administrative Council. We are very proud of Bel and know that she will thrive as the NALFO Executive Vice President.Please join us in congratulating Bel on this new and exciting endeavor!

KDChi Wins Top Awards at NALFO Banquet in Atlanta, Georgia

April 18, 2011 (Atlanta, GA) Kappa Delta Chi Sorority Inc. is proud to announce the numerous awards garnered at the NALFO Awards over the weekend held in Atlanta, Georgia.

NALFO (National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations) is the premiere umbrella council for Latino Greek Letter Organizations. The purpose of NALFO is to promote and foster positive intrafraternal relations, communication, and development of all Latino Fraternal organizations through mutual respect, leadership, honesty, professionalism and education. Established in 1998, NALFO has 19 member organizations from across the United States.

San Diego, CA – May 2009 The National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) recently held its Spring Business Meeting in San Diego, California. On Saturday, May 2, the following member organizations were honored as NALFO award recipients:

Lambda Chapter Wins NALFO Chapter of the Year at Arizona State University

Congratulations to the Lambda Chapter at Arizona State University. The chapter took home many awards during Arizona State University's Greek Award Ceremony including the following:

*Excellence in Community Service for NALFO
*Excellence in Academics for NALFO
*Excellence in Risk Management Organization of the Year for NALFO
*Excellence in Member Development for NALFO
 
Lambda Chapter also won a Gold Pillar award which means that they received a 96% of 100% on their Greek Awards nomination packet for Arizona State University.
 
To top the evening off, the Lambda Chapter took the top honor as the Chapter of the Year for the NALFO Council!!
 
Congratulations to the following individual award recipients:  
*Stacey Flores - Iota Class (Spring 2001): Advisor of the Year
*Christine Ruiz - Rho Class (Spring 2006): Sorority Member of the Year (which is the highest honor a Greek member can receive on ASU's campus!) Christine Ruiz serves as the Lambda Chapter President.
