WSU to add Latina-focused Kappa Delta Chi Sorority in fall 2015

WSU to add Latina-focused Kappa Delta Chi Sorority in fall 2015

The Multicultural Greek Council-Fraternity and Sorority Life at Wichita State University has selected Kappa Delta Chi Sorority Inc. for expansion to campus during the fall 2015 semester.

During the past few months, a search committee and members of the Greek council have been reviewing and evaluating several national organizations to define the best chapter to come to campus. This Latina-focused sorority will re-charter a colony at WSU with the focus of raising cultural awareness and empowering women to be successful in college and thereafter.

Kappa Delta Chi was founded in April 1987 at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. The purpose of the sorority is to promote the values of unity, honesty, integrity and leadership among women at colleges and universities. Through numerous service events, sisterhood retreats and academic and cultural workshops, KDChi is committed to student growth and increased knowledge and impact to campus and their community.
