NALFO Affiliation

NALFO is the premier umbrella council for Latina/o Greek-letter organizations. The purpose of NALFO is to promote and foster positive interfraternal relations, communication, and development of all Latino Fraternal organizations through mutual respect, leadership, honesty, professionalism and education. Established in 1998, NALFO has 20 member organizations from across the United States who meet bi-annually for a spring convention and a fall business meeting.

Kappa Delta Chi has been a member organization of NALFO since 2000. Since then, KDChi has been a strong supporter of NALFO's efforts. KDChi sisters have served as leaders in NALFO, with Ruby Alvarado Hernandez (Zeta) serving on the NALFO board from 2004-2007, Yvonne Hernandez (Lambda) serving as NALFO Chair from 2007-2011, and Jennifer Sanchez (Pi) serving as the Director of Public Relations from 2011-2013.

We are extremely proud of our members for the many awards we have received throughout the years.
