Runner, Victim/Witness Coordinator, Sister.

"I think the most delicious thing I've tasted in my life was the cold, cut up orange slices given to me @ miles 6ish and 10ish," on running a half-marathon.

Name: Alexandra Natalie Moscoso

Chapter: Alpha
Hometown: Originally from California, but I've lived in so many places, I don't really know where "home" is. My parents' home is in Lubbock, so I guess that's home.
Current City: Houston, TX
Undergrad/Graduate Studies: Business
Profession: Harris County District Attorney's Office, I am a Victim/Witness Coordinator & Interpreter. I help crime victims through the legal system process, from filling out crime victims' compensation, to accompanying them through the trial. I'm also the office interpreter and translate for prosecutors, documents, and audio/video material such as confessions, interviews, etc.
Valuable lesson you learned from KDChi: Networking.
Best/challenging college experience? Best - time I spent with my best friend. Worst - I moved to upstate NY to finish college, and the winters were BRUTAL!!!
Advice you wished you had before working? There has to be a separation between friends and co-workers. Sometimes your boss becomes your friend, and you have to realize that there will be times when that can be very difficult.
Most Challengenging issue during grad school? Time management.
As it relates to the transition from undergrad to graduate student, what advice do you have for undergrads considering grad school? Don't get out of the habit of making time to study, especially if you are working and going to school.
Favorite Travel Destination? I love to travel! My favorite recent trip was watching my best friend run in a marathon in Napa Valley, CA. We spent 3 days in Calistoga, CA and 3 days in San Francisco. I visited SF as a child, but being there as an adult was so wonderful! I can't wait to go back!!!
