EXPANSION
We appreciate your interest in Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. We
hope that what you have read and seen throughout our website strengthened your
desire to become a member of our sorority. Membership in Kappa Delta Chi can be
achieved in two ways. The first way you can seek membership into our sorority
is by joining an existing chapter at your university. The process is called The
New Member Process. If you are interested, please check to see if there is already
a chapter at your university or contact the
External Recruitment Officer. The second way to become a member is to charter a new chapter
if your university does not currently have a chapter of Kappa Delta Chi. This
process is called The Charter Process.
General
New Member Requirements 1. Full-Time undergraduate/graduate student.
2. Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5, except for incoming freshman
and transfer students. Rounding of grade point average is not accepted. START
A CHAPTER The Charter Process
If you find that your university
does not currently have a chapter of Kappa Delta Chi and you are dedicated and
willing to charter a new chapter, we look forward to hearing from you! The External Recruitment Officer and the
Vice President of Expansion
work together as a team to recruit and then help establish
new chapters. The Charter Process is similar, yet different from The New Member
Process in that you are becoming a New Member as well as working to establish
a chapter at your university. Our sorority does have particular requirements to
begin this process such as, a minimum/maximum amount of eligible women, G.P.A.
requirements, as well as enrollment requirements. Please keep in mind that each
Charter Process may vary based upon the rules and regulations at each university.
To find out more information about chartering a chapter at your university, please
print out our Interest
Packet. If after reading the Interest Packet you still would like further
information, please send an email to our External Recruitment Officer and you will be contacted shortly thereafter.
General
Charter Member Requirements 1. Be a full-time undergraduate/graduate
student at an accredited four-year college or university. 2. Have a minimum
2.5 cumulative G.P.A., no rounding of G.P.A. will be accepted. 3. Not be
a current or former member of a non-academic, non-professional or non-honorary
sorority. Once again we would like to thank you for
your time in researching and learning more about our sorority. We hope that you
will find exactly what you are looking for, a sisterhood that is based on Unity,
Honesty, Integrity, and Leadership; the four values we hold in our highest regard.
