CONVENTION AGENDA (DOWNLOAD .PDF AGENDA) The Convention Committee is proud to bring you many exciting events and activities for the 2008 Leadership Convention. All Sisters can begin with check-in on Thursday. Friday's Opening Ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. with Seminars following and a Sisterhood Dinner ending the evening. Saturday is full of activities including the Annual Career and Education Expo, a Service Luncheon with keynote speaker Texas Rep. Ana Hernandez, team building, and the Annual Awards Gala with keynote speaker Dr. Laura Murillo, the President of Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Saturday night concludes with a social hosted by the ladies of Theta, Alpha Theta, and Alpha Mu. The weekend comes to a close on Sunday with the Official Kappa Delta Chi Closing Ceremony amd Convention Picture. Alumnae, there are plenty of seminars and activities for you as well. Family members are able to attend open events throughout the weekend (see Agenda). There is also an Alumnae Hospitality Area open Friday during seminars and after the sisterhood event and on Saturday between 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm and 9:30 pm – 10:30 pm. And Sisters, don't forget to bring your check book. The KDChi Store (located in Bayou A, B, C) will be open throughout the weekend to purchase those much needed KDChi and penguin items.
